Summer Edition - Mental Health Hacks Feat. Mandy Teefey

Join us for our first special Summer Edition of Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown! The format is a bit different from our usual episodes, but we think you'll enjoy them nonetheless!

Mandy Teefey (Co-founder and Co-CEO of Wondermind, Producer of 13 Reasons Why, Selena Gomez’ mom) stops by to discuss the origin of her mental health platform, Wondermind, and its mission to destigmatize and democratize mental health. Mayim and Jonathan break down their "overt" and "covert" mental health hacks, from practicing good sleep hygiene and being in touch with sensory sensitivities, to hitting the social reset button and re-examining our relationships with social media.

Theme Song Written, Produced, and Performed by Ed Robertson. Mixed by Kenny Luong.

Mandy Teefey's Mental Health Focused: Wondermind
You work out your body, but what about your mind? To us, mental fitness means creating a routine; working through your feelings to better understand your mind—with the right tools and community to support growth. It means committing to a daily practice, even when you feel out of your comfort zone (which shows it’s working!). Here at Wondermind, there’s no judgment. Just progress. Keep going, you’ll get there—and one day before you know it, it will all be second nature.
Mandy Teefey's Story Behind Starting Wondermind
It takes more than an inspirational quote to really change your mindset. Even if you see a therapist (which is amazing), you still need to work on yourself between sessions. (You wouldn’t expect physical fitness results seeing a trainer only once in a while, would you?) That’s what Wondermind is here for—to give you easy, doable ways to put your mental fitness first every single day.
